The Immaculate Conception Cathedral[1] (Serbo-Croatian: Katedrala Bezgrešnog Začeća) is the name given to a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church and is located in the town of Bar[2] a coastal city facing the Adriatic Sea belonging to the European country of Montenegro.[3]

The temple follows the Roman or Latin rite and functions as the headquarters of the Archdiocese of Bar (Archidioecesis Antibarensis) which was created as a diocese in the tenth century at the time suffragan of the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska and elevated to Archdiocese in 1034.

The current building serves as cathedral since 1828.
