Plot

Jagathy is a sincere home minister who has a sister (Mathu). The sister is in love with Sidique. An incident happens that questions the minister honesty. In a newspaper, an MLA announces that he will show all the kanja dealers in a forest if both of them go together. The minister accepts and goes with the MLA. In the forest, the MLA and minister P. A. Janardhanan set a trap, the minister gets shot and falls down in the forest and now a duplicate of Jagathy, who was a usual local nuisance, is now set as home minister. The duplicate Jagathy now has to obey the PA and act according to the PA's wishes. Meanwhile, the original Jagathy is now recovering from arm injury and tells the surrounding tribal people that he himself is the home minister. Finally, the friends of duplicate Jagathy also find the original Jagathy. So the friends admit him to a nearby mental asylum. The duplicate Jagathy overhears the chief terrorist speak with the PA to kill Jagathy later after ISRO data gets leaked and they get the money from enemy countries. Here comes Sidique who was in jail, earlier trapped by PA to the jail. Sidique goes along with duplicate Jagathy to the asylum and frees the original Jagathy. By this time the villains arrive and fight. Police arrive and the original Jagathy orders police to arrest the PA and all the gundas. The film ends.
