Chionodes bicolor is a moth in the family Gelechiidae.[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from California and Nevada.[2][3]

The wingspan is 16–17 mm. The forewings are dark purplish fuscous with the area of the fold to the dorsal margin, from the base to the tornus fawn colour. There is an elongate blotch of fawn from the cell to the costa, in the basal half of the wing and a minute light spot at the apical third. The hindwings are greyish fuscous, somewhat darker at the apex.[4]
