Bakay-Ata (formerly Leninopol) is a town in the Talas Region of Kyrgyzstan. Its population was 6,834 in 2009.[1] It is the capital of Bakay-Ata District. To the south, the Urmaral valley runs up into the Talas Ala-Too Range.
