Paolo Poggi (born February 16, 1971 in Venice) is a retired Italian professional football player who played as a striker.

Career

In the 2001–02 season, Poggi set the record for the fastest goal scored in the Serie A, scoring 8 seconds after the starting whistle.

After retirement

Paolo is co-founder of the Calcio Scuola (football camp), which can be found on the island of Lido di Venezie just outside Venice.
