Chris Hufford
Appearance
Chris Hufford is an English audio engineer, record producer, and band manager, known most prominently for managing Radiohead.[1]
Early career
His career began as an audio engineer and record producer. He co-founded Courtyard Studios with business partner Bryce Edge where many groups associated with the shoegaze movement, including the likes of Chapterhouse and Slowdive, recorded albums.[1]
Radiohead
While Radiohead was still under their original name On A Friday, Hufford was present for their performance at the Jericho Tavern in Oxford on 8 August 1991, becoming the group's manager following the concert. The exact circumstances that led to Hufford's attendance and his relationship with the group prior to the performance are uncertain.[2]
