Peter Benson (born 24 January 1967) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played at club level for the North Sydney Bears, Brisbane Broncos, Gold Coast (Twice), Wakefield Trinity (Heritage № 1034) and the Canberra Raiders. He played as a fullback, Wing or centre, i.e. number 1, 2 or 5, or, 3 or 4.[2]

Peter Benson played left-centre, i.e. number 4, and scored three goals in Wakefield Trinity's 29-16 victory over Sheffield Eagles in the 1992–93 Yorkshire County Cup Final during the 1992–93 season at Elland Road, Leeds on Sunday 18 October 1992.[3]
