David Laidlaw from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2014[1] for contributions to data visualization and analytics. In 2019, he was named to the IEEE Visualization Academy[2].
