Stephanie Stebich is the director of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Before taking the post on April 3, 2017, she was the executive director of the Tacoma Art Museum in Washington.[1]

Life

She attended Phillips Exeter Academy, Columbia University with bachelor's degree in art history, and New York University with master's degree with a concentration in modern art.[2] She is fluent in German and French.[3]
