Éric Guillemain is a French Photographer born in Morocco.[1] He has worked with Peter Lindbergh and has famously photographed Vanessa Paradis for Vs. Magazine.[2] He was also the former lead singer of the French rock band Venice.

Early career

In 2002 Eric Guillemain moved from Paris to New York[3] where he tried to make it as a musician. In 2004 he started working as a photographer's assistant and by 2008 had decided to move into photography full-time.[4]

In 2009, Eric Guillemain started his photography career and since then Eric works for international clients in advertising and editorial. He photographed celebrities such as Vanessa Paradis, Rachel Weisz, Charlize Theron, Johnny Depp, Elle Fanning, Shailene Woodley, Marianne Faithfull, Sasha Lane, Jessica Alba, Dakota Johnson, Karl Lagerfeld, Léa Seydoux, Keri Russell, Andie McDowell, Nick Cave, Jessica Hart, Miranda Kerr, Lou Doillon, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jennifer Laurence, Carla Bruni, Adele Exerchopoulos, Famke Janssen, Gia Coppola, Elisa Sednaoui, Dree Hemingway, Lizzie Jagger, Lily Allen, Isabelle Huppert, Diane Kruger, Norman Reedus, Milla Jovovich, , Camille Rowe, Helena Christensen, Clémence Poésy , Alicia Keys, Laetitia Casta, etc to name just a few.

To quote Eric:" I never stopped singing, I just decided to make photos instead of songs...for now."

Eric Guillemain's style can be described as stripped down, without filters or device, connected directly through emotion to his subject. Eric Guillemain lives in New York.
