Patrick P. M. "Pat" Doherty (born 12 April 1962[1]) born in Croydon is an English former professional feather/super feather/lightweight boxer of the 1980s, who won the Irish super featherweight title, and Commonwealth lightweight title, and was a challenger for the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) Southern Area featherweight title against Clyde Ruan[1], and BBBofC British super featherweight title against John Doherty[2], his professional fighting weight varied from 122+12 lb (55.6 kg; 8 st 10.5 lb), i.e. featherweight to 134+34 lb (61.1 kg; 9 st 8.8 lb), i.e. lightweight.[2]
