David Porter (Australian judge)

David Porter is a former justice of the Supreme Court of Tasmania, who was appointed in 2008. Prior to his appointment he worked as a litigator and is a former president of the Northern Tasmanian Football Association (NTFA) and chairman of the NTFA disciplinary tribunal.[1] With the July 7, 2014 death of the Governor of Tasmania, Peter Underwood, from complications of a kidney tumor, Justice Porter is serving as Administrator of Tasmania.
