Alma Mater

Written in 1973 in honor of the first HHS Homecoming.
Words by Reba Jones and music by Ruth Jones and Gene Davis.

"To our school upon the hillside,
the home of the Hornets brave and strong.
True allegiance now we pledge to thee,
gay pennants now we wave.
Hornbeck High we salute you;
in our hearts you'll always dwell.
Truth and ideals that you've stood for,
memories that our lives shall mold.
Friendship and fun, hard work and play
will never fade away.
We shall be bold and always uphold
The White and the Gold."
