Brauerei Göller, more commonly known as Göller, is one of the oldest craft breweries in the world.[1]. Located in Franconia, Germany, Göller is a multi-generational family enterprise tracing its roots to 1514 when a local monastery secured a brewing license [2]. Current brewmaster, Felix Göller, was named German Brewer of the year in 2013. His father, Franz-Josef Göller, won the same award in 1976 [3].
Reception
Göller won Gold Medal in Meininger's International Craft Beer Award 2019 for its Dunkel [4]. The brewery currently has a rating of 3.3 on the beer rating app Untappd, and a 3.75 on Beer Advocate [5]
Availability
Göller's brewery is located in the village of Zeil am Main in Franconia, Germany, where its tap house is open to the public. Göller recently entered the international market and currently exports through St. Amand's Wines, Brews, and Spirits to Paxico, Kansas [6]. U.S. distribution is imminent.
