The Primary Dental Journal is a quarterly peer-reviewed medical journal published by the Faculty of General Dental Practice of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, of which it is the official journal. It was established in 2012 as the continuation of two previous journals, Primary Dental Care (1994–2012) and Team in Practice.[1]

The journal is abstracted and indexed in MEDLINE/PubMed[2] and CINAHL.[3]
