Henri-Jacques de Croes (baptised 19 September 1705 in Antwerp, died 16 August 1786 in Brussels[1]) was a composer and violinist from the Austrian Netherlands, nowadays Belgium. His work catalogue includes several concerto grossi, masses, chamber music and a comical opera.

His son Henri-Joseph de Croes (1758-1842) was also a violin player and the kapellmeister of the court orchestra of Regensburg, one of the leading orchestras of eighteenth-century Europe.
