The Tallis Directory is a gazetteer of Gravesend written and published by John Tallis of Smithfield, London, in 1839. The directory includes maps of the main streets of Gravesend, Kent, south east England, with drawings of the buildings. It also shows the lines of projected railways to Gravesend during the period of speculation known as Railway Mania.

It was published under the title A Comprehensive Gazetteer of Gravesend with its Environs; being a Complete Guide for Visitors on Pleasure or Business, to which is added a General Directory of Gravesend.[1]
