Barry O'Moore (born Herbert Alms Yost, December 8, 1879 – October 23, 1945) was an American stage and screen actor, principally of the silent era. He gained distinction as a performer in the legitimate theatre under his real name, Herbert Yost. To avoid the embarrassment of lowering his reputation if it became known he appear in films, he billed himself as "Barry O'Moore." Using this name, he appeared in 91 films between 1908 and 1934. Yost was born in Harrison, Ohio and died in New York City.
