Thomas Smith (born 6 April 1854) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and left-arm bowler who played for Surrey. He was born in Guildford.

Smith made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 1876 season, against Sussex. From the lower-middle order, he scored 3 runs in the first innings in which he batted, and 13 runs in the second.

Smith bowled 7.2 overs in the match, conceding 20 runs.
