Smooth & Legit is the debut album by Smooth, first known as MC Smooth at the time. It was released on April 27, 1990 through independent label, Crush Music and was produced by her brother Chris Stokes and former N.W.A member, Arabian Prince. The album was not much of a success, only making it to #72 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
