Kopice [kɔˈpit͡sɛ] (German: Koppitz, 1936–1945 Schwarzengrund) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Grodków, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south-east of Grodków, 25 km (16 mi) south of Brzeg, and 34 km (21 mi) west of the regional capital Opole.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II). The Schaffgotsch noble family left a Neo-Gothic palace, today in ruins.

The village has a population of 1,200.
