The Dominican Institute for Oriental Studies or IDEO (from French: Institut dominicain d'études orientales) is a basic research centre located in Cairo. Its research field covers the ten first centuries of Islam.
History
The Dominican Institute for Oriental Studies was founded in the early 1950s, after the Second World War came to an end.
