Excel Dryer is a manufacturer of hand dryers, based in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. In 1997, Denis Gagnon bought the company and realized that many people disliked conventional hand dryers for their long waiting time. In collaboration with Invent Resources, the Xlerator was created to reduce the time required to dry hands.[2] In 2011, Excel Dryer has become a Top Level Industry Partner of the American Society of Interior Designers.[3] Excel Dryer's products have also been approved for LEED v4 credits and other green building standards.[4]
