Bluppo is puzzle video game developed for MS-DOS by Matija Tomaskovic and Bruno Babic and published by Webfoot Technologies in 1996. Bluppo is a clone of Boulder Dash with additional features and improved graphics and sounds.
Gameplay
The goal of Bluppo is to collect certain number of fish in order to exit to another level, completing 80 levels in total. While doing this, the player must avoid falling boulders and nasty sturgeon, as well as conserving oxygen. There are also 80 levels for two players. As the game progresses, levels quickly become more difficult to play, making for frantic games as the player plots the quickest way to the exit before his oxygen runs out.
Development
The game was coded in more than 20,000 lines of assembly language code.[citation needed]
