BPC-157
Appearance
BPC-157 (also known as PL 14736) is a pentadecapeptide. It has the amino acid sequence Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val.[1]
It has been tested in animal trials for cytoprotective and wound healing activities.[2][3] BPC-157 can contribute to wound healing due to muscle and tendon rejuvenating properties through accelerating the rate of angiogenic repair. [4]
