Vidal Marín Fernández (1653–1709) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served as Bishop of Ceuta (1694–1709).
Biography
Vidal Marín Fernández was born on 22 Feb 1653 in Mora, Spain and ordained a priest on 9 Apr 1678.[1] On 13 Sep 1694, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Innocent XII as Bishop of Ceuta.[2][1] On 19 Dec 1694, he was consecrated bishop by Jaime de Palafox y Cardona, Archbishop of Seville, with Manuel Torquemada, Titular Bishop of Berytus, and Francisco Rodríguez Pizaño, Titular Bishop of Raulia, serving as co-consecrators.[1] He served as Bishop of Ceuta until his death on 10 Mar 1709.[2][1]
