Malou Aamund (born 28 July 1969, in Copenhagen, Denmark) is a former member of the Folketing for the party Venstre. In the parliamentary elections in November 2007, she was elected as a member of the party New Alliance but changed parties on 5 February 2008.[1]
She is the daughter of corporate manager Asger Aamund and artist Susanne Aamund, and is married to Mikael Bertelsen, who is Director of programming for Radio24syv, with whom she has three children. Malou Aamund first became famous for dating Crown Prince Frederik in 1990.[citation needed]
On 4 January 2011, Aamund announced that she was leaving politics to become a sales director at Microsoft Denmark.[2]
In September 2016 it was announced, that Aamund would take on the role as Country Director for Google Denmark. The role became vacant after former Country Director, Peter Friis, was promoted to VP of Northern Europe.[3]
