The 1896 Colorado Silver and Gold football team was an American football team that represented the University of Colorado during the 1896 college football season. The season marked the program's third consecutive conference championship under head coach Fred Folsom. The team recorded a record of 2–0 in the CFA and 5–0 overall, marking its first undefeated season.[1]
