The 1962 Northern Illinois Huskies football team represented Northern Illinois University in the 1962 NCAA College Division football season. The Huskies finished the regular season 8–1 and played in the Mineral Water Bowl, losing to Adams State. They were led by seventh-year head coach Howard Fletcher.
