Edgar Garcia (born September 20, 1987) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher.
Career
He was born in Las Matas de Farfan, San Juan Province, Dominican Republic. He began his career in 2005 at 17 years old in the Philadelphia Phillies system, remaining there until 2010. In 2011, he played in the Kansas City Royals system, and in 2014 and 2015, he played in the Arizona Diamondbacks system. He has also spent time in independent baseball, the Mexican League, and the Dominican Winter League.[1]
He represented the Dominican in the 2017 World Baseball Classic.[2] In the 2017 regular season, he pitched in the Mexican League.
