Trosia nigropunctigera is a moth of the family Megalopygidae. They are distributed across Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Ecuador and Peru.^[1]^[2] The species was described by David Stephen Fletcher in 1982.^[3]
