Benoît Tardieu Verdenet (born 21 January 1986 in Ussel, France) is a Beninese professional footballer who currently plays for US Saint-Georges.[4]

Career

Early career

He began 1997 to play football at youth age for AS Montferrand and signed in 1999 than with AS Nancy. In 2001 left than AS Nancy and joined in 2001 to traditions club AJ Auxerre who has played three years on youth side.[5]

Professional career

Tardieu began his professional career with AJ Auxerre in the reserve squad. After one year with the reserve team from AJ Auxerre, signed in summer 2006 with Clermont Foot.[6] He played only two games in two years for Clermont Foot and in July 2008 left the club. Tardieu signed for 2008/09 season with US Albi[7] and was released in summer 2009.[8] After his releasing by Clermont signed in July 2009 for US Beaumont.[9] In June 2011 signed than for US Saint-Georges.[10]

International career

Tardieu presented his homeland at 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship in the Netherlands. He played on 4 June 2005 his debut for the Benin national football team in the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Cameroon national football team[11] and his second call up was on 12 March 2008.[12]
