John Barber (8 January 1901 – 30 March 1961) was an English footballer. His regular position was as a forward. He was born in Salford, Lancashire. He played for Clayton, Chesterfield, Southport, and Manchester United.
He spent three games on loan at Mossley in December 1923, scoring one goal.[1] Later in his career he played for Halifax Town, Rochdale, Stockport County and Bacup Borough.
