David Eugene Ray, Jr. (born September 19, 1944) is a former professional American football placekicker in the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Alabama as a kicker and wide receiver. He was an All-American kicker in 1964.

He was selected in the 16th round (243rd overall) of the 1966 NFL Draft. Ray played six seasons for the Los Angeles Rams.
