Several steamships have been named Silesia after the province of Schlesien

  • SS Silesia is also the name of an Austrian vessel sequestered by the Italian government in 1920 and claimed as a war prize of the Chinese government.[3]
  • SS Silesia, a HAPAG steamship that ran aground off Pusan, Korea, in 1912
