Edmund Rous

Sir Edmund Rous (by 1521 – 1569 or later), of Dunwich, Suffolk, was an English politician.
He was a Member of Parliament (MP) for Dover in 1555, Great Bedwyn in April 1554, and Dunwich in November 1554 and 1559.[1] He was knighted c. 1550.
He was appointed Vice-Treasurer of Ireland for c.1553 to 1555.
He married Mary, the daughter and coheiress of a Paynell of Lincolnshire and had 1 daughter.
