John James Sborz (born January 24, 1985) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher.
Professional career
Sborz was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the second round of the 2003 MLB Draft.
Sborz was called up on June 21, 2010 to take the roster spot of Rick Porcello who was sent down to the minors the day before.[1]
Sborz made his major league debut on June 22, 2010, at Citi Field against the New York Mets and hit the first two batters he faced.[2] He was optioned to the Toledo Mud Hens two days later.[3]

Sborz brother, Josh is a Major League Baseball pitcher with the Los Angeles Dodgers,
