Patricia Franklin (born 1942, London, England) is an English actress.

Career

Her television credits include Black Books, The Bill, Silent Witness, The Sweeney and Play for Today.

She has appeared in five Carry On films – Carry On Camping as the Farmer's daughter, Carry On Loving as Mrs Dreery, Carry On Girls as Rosemary, Carry On Behind as Vera and Carry On England as Corporal Cook. She also appeared in the 1972 film version of Bless This House as Mary. She later appeared in all three films in Edgar Wright's and Simon Pegg's Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy. Patricia also appeared in Fraud Squad as Gloria in 1969, Brief Encounter as Beryl in 1974 and in Centre Play as the Telephone Caller in 1975. Her more recent television credits include World's End as the Beehive Lady.

Personal life

Franklin is married to the Australian dramatist Frank Hatherley and their youngest daughter is the guitarist, composer and solo artist Charlotte Hatherley. Their oldest daughter is film composer Abigail Hatherley and their middle child is software entrepreneur, musician and philanthropist, Beatrice Hatherley.
