Pete Smith (born in 1947) is a retired professional basketball power forward who played five games in the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a member of the San Diego Conquistadors during the 1972–73 season. He played in college for Valdosta State University and was drafted by the Buffalo Braves as the second pick in the thirteenth round (197th overall) of the 1971 NBA draft,[1][2] but never played in the NBA.
