Charina umbratica, known commonly as the southern rubber boa, is a species of snake in the family Boidae.[3][4] The species is endemic to the United States, in southern California.

Conservation status

As of April 2017, the southern rubber boa was listed as a state threatened species in the California Natural Diversity Database.[5]
