Bornova Stadium or Bornova Stadyumu is a stadium in the Bornova district of Izmir, Turkey. It was opened to public in 2016 with a capacity of 6,041 spectators. It is the home venue for both Göztepe S.K. (2016–2019) and Altınordu F.K.. In 2017, it was expanded to a capacity of 12,500 spectators, with a new tribune being constructed.
History
Doğanlar Stadium was inaugurated on 1 October 2016, with a match between Göztepe S.K. and Elazığspor.[1][2] After the official opening in 8 October 2016, the name was changed from "Doğanlar Stadı" to "Bornova Aziz Kocaoğlu Stadı".
