Playing career

Baba was born in Itabashi, Tokyo on January 22, 1984. He joined J1 League club FC Tokyo from youth team in 2002. He got an opportunity to play from first season and played many matches as offensive midfielder from 2003. In 2004, FC Tokyo won the champions in J.League Cup first title in the club history. In 2008, he moved to JEF United Chiba. Although he initially played many matches as substitute midfielder, the club results were sluggish and could not play at all in the match from May.[2] In August 2008, he moved to J2 League club Montedio Yamagata. He played many matches as regular player and Montedio won the 2nd place in 2008 season. Although Montedio was promoted to J1 first time in the club history end from 2009, he left the club end of 2008 season. In August 2009, he joined J2 club Tokyo Verdy. However he could hardly play in the match and left the club end of 2009 season. After 1 year and half blank, he moved to South Korea and joined Daejeon Citizen. He retired end of 2013 season.
