The Riptides were an inline hockey team (2000–2012) based in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

The team was founded in 2000 by captains Chris LaRue and Jon Graney, who was also is the team's goaltender.

Originally started as a dekhockey team in East Hartford, Connecticut, the Riptides moved their franchise to neighboring Glastonbury, Connecticut and became an inline hockey team at the now-defunct Z Rink.

The team disbanded after Z-Rink facility closed on Dec. 4, 2012, and the rink itself was sold to a local developer for relocation.

As of 2020, several of the former Riptides players play for the Rogues ice hockey franchise in the Light The Lamp Hockey League based at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

Two championships: Fall 2002, Winter 2005. Rogues championship: Winter 2015.
