Om Prakash Malhotra (died 2013) was a Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India, and a distinguished author who brought out the treatise on the Law of Industrial Disputes and authored commentary on the Law & Practice of Arbitration and Conciliation. He died on January 31, 2013.[1]

Early Life

He is father of Indu Malhotra, currently serving as Judge of Supreme Court of India.[2] Om Prakash Malhotra had his degree education in Lahore University of Punjab and completed his degree in law from Government Law College, Bangalore. [1]

Career

His law career started in Bangalore High Court where he practiced law for the first time. [1]

Books

He wrote treatise on the Law of Industrial Disputes.[2] He published six editions of this Commentary. The Commentary received wide acclaim. During his later years, he authored a commentary on the Law & Practice of Arbitration and Conciliation, and took out two editions of this book. [1]
