The Copa Truck is a Brazilian auto racing series, composed of trucks prepared for race.[1] The category replaces the Fórmula Truck series in 2017.[2]
History
The origin of the category came after the nine teams leave Formula Truck because of disagreements with the troubled management of Neusa Navarro Félix;[3][4] these teams joined in an association that gave rise to the category that came to replace Fórmula Truck. The new category brings together all the teams and riders of the old category.[5] In November of 2017, it was homologated by the Brazilian Confederation of Automobilismo (CBA) and was valued as an official championship.[6]
