Consumed is the first novel by the Canadian filmmaker, screenwriter and actor David Cronenberg.[1] The novel is driven by a globe trotting, photojournalist couple, that pursue stories featuring rather unusual people.

Reviews

Cronenberg's novel has been compared to Burroughs, Ballard and DeLillo.[2] The books was reviewed in The New York Times (by Jonathan Lethem)[3] and The Guardian.[1] It was also reviewed by Hannah McGill of Independent.[4]
