The National Schools Symphony Orchestra[1] – known for short as the NSSO – is a national orchestra in which the members are young people of secondary school age living in and around the United Kingdom.

It was founded in 1995[2] and has several distinguished patrons including Patrick Doyle and Sir John Eliot Gardiner.
