Bekabad is a raion (district) of Tashkent Region in Uzbekistan. The capital lies at Zafar.

Settlements

There are one cities (Zafar) four towns (Bobur, Kurkam, Xos, Gulzor) and 11 villages (Bahoriston, Guliston, Dalvarzin, Jumabozor, Madaniyat, Mehnatobod, Oxunboboyev, Pushkin, Chanoq, Yangi hayot, Qiyot)

Population

The population, about 127000 people, is mainly ethnic Uzbeks, as well as Tatars, Tajiks and representatives of other nationalities. A total of 160 people per 1 km2. The urban population is 8.1 thousand people, the rural population is 119.6 thousand people (2000).
