Mekides Abebe (born 29 July 2001) is an Ethiopian athlete.[1] She competed in the women's 3000 metres steeplechase event at the 2019 World Athletics Championships.[2]

She won the gold medal in the women's 3000 metres steeplechase at the 2019 African Games.
