Szapáry
Szapáry is the name of a family, derived from the village of Szapár, which belonged to the Hungarian nobility. Members of this family held the title of count (Hungarian: grof).[1]

- László Szapáry (1831–1883), Austro-Hungarian general who played a leading role in the occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1878.
- Gyula Szapáry, (1832-1905), Prime Minister of Hungary from 1890 to 1892.
- Frigyes Szapáry (1869-1935), Austro-Hungarian diplomat of Hungarian origin who served as ambassador at St. Petersburg at the outbreak of World War I, and who played a key role during the July Crisis of 1914.
- György Szapáry (born 1938), economist and diplomat.
